The Foods You Must Avoid During Pregnancy

There is no better feeling than knowing you are pregnant, and this is the time when you need to eat right to keep the baby and your body healthy. Check these foods you should not have during your expecting months.

Avoid a few specific fruits
Fruits like papaya and pineapple are best avoided in pregnancy. Both these fruits can cause early labor and therefore, the chances of miscarriage are higher. Also, in the advanced stages, you need to avoid grapes by all means, which can cause miscarriage for its heat.

Skip a few seafood items
Some of the seafood choices like shark and swordfish have listeria that can be responsible for food poisoning. Many experts also insist on avoiding some of the frozen seafood items like oysters, which can have multiple effects on the body.

Avoid the white foods
Unless you are allowed, try and skip all purpose flour and white rice to the maximum. Refined sugars and foods are never considered to be good for the body, and when you have a life growing inside you, it makes no sense to binge on quick snacks that harm.

Give caffeine as miss
Most women don’t realize that excessive caffeine is actually bad for the baby. Studies have revealed that women who consume colas, coffee and other caffeine containing drinks are likely to give birth to an underweight baby. If you are addicted, the best bet is to try minimizing as soon as possible.

Caring for your baby starts on the first day of your good news!
